Ecorazzi's snippet concerning Michael Ginor's interview in Canada's National Post newspaper leaves out a lot -- both in terms of his derision concerning the campaign, as well as the important fact that he's not just a chef working for Hudson Valley Foie Gras (which is, according to the company's own website, one of the largest foie gras producers in the world) -- he's its co-founder and president, and he also works as a consultant. It's also worth mentioning that the National Post article conveniently omitted that Ginor's company (under its previous name, Commonwealth Enterprises) was investigated by PETA some years ago and evidence of extreme animal cruelty was documented in the process. So he seems a bizarre pick to comment on a PETA campaign. It seems like more of a PR opportunity for him than anything.
