Rag & Bone’s organic knits. You know we think wool is ‘effed up. Rag & Bone, whose aesthetic we love, has some really great knits in organic cotton for Spring ’09. Did you know that 25% of ALL PESTICIDES used globally is for cotton?

Gardein …tastes…. like… chicken. I picked up some It’s All Good brand veggie-chick’n in tomato tuscan marinade because it’s made with this really great faux meat called Gardein, and I hadn’t tried it yet. It was really convincing (scarily so, for this more-than-a-decade-vegan), and has 26 grams if protein per serving! Wow.  I prepared it over quinoa with some steamed greens:

The first time I ever saw Cung Le fight (years ago on ESPN at like 1 a.m. — the only time you could see non-boxing fighting), I couldn’t believe the way he would take down guys with that jumping scissor sweep thing. blew my mind, I tell you!

I tried their pulled chicken barbeque in a sandwhich the other day. As soon as I bit into it I thought I had made some horrible mistake and was chewing on real meat. I had to double-check the package to make sure it was actually chicken-free. Good stuff!

Hi, where did you buy the It’s All Good please?

    Thanks!!

Wow, I had the exact opposite experience. I tried the BBQ chicken kind, and upon chowing down wondered why the heck it tasted like cardboard chunks in brown gravy. The texture was okay, I guess, but the flavor was absolutely awful.
