Lion’s Share Industries is a vegan owned and operated company out of Seattle Washington that launched on July 2nd. Each Lion’s Share t-shirt design series is centered around a theme, somewhat like a curated show, then each artist creates a design, chooses the shirt color, and even the shirt material. Only 200 of each shirt are screen-printed by hand on either 100% organic cotton or recycled cotton and PET shirts. The theme of series one is “Flight.” Five vegan artists and illustrators were chosen to design a shirt on this theme, including choosing the color of each shirt and picking the sustainable materials.
15% of the profits from each series will be donated to an animal advocacy charity. For the first series, the artists have voted on The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization known for their tireless efforts to protect humpback wales from Japanese whaling boats.
