Desert Boots for Winter

• These faux-nubuck Bourgeois Boheme desert boots are a bit sleeker, and have more of a narrow toe than the Vegetarian Shoes versions I wrote about back in May. Desert boots were originated for utilitarian military purposes in Cairo during World War II as an alternative to stiff, hot, and heavy army boots. Sustainably leather-free, $103 at bboheme.com

These shoes are beautiful! I’ve got the Vegetarian Shoes Desert Boots, which wears really nice, but they are somewhat broad, these look amazing! Been following your blog for some time now and I really like being updated for the fashion (mostly, the restaurants are kinda far away as I live in Norway). Just wanted to let you know you’re making fashion alot easier for a Norwegian gut who’s into fashion, but don’t want to be using garments made from animals!
