The Reet Aus SS14 collection features upcycling in mass-production at Beximco in Bangladesh. Each garment in the collection carries a label with a unique calculation of the environmental impact of style. This collection on average saves 4500 liters / 78% of water creates 2273 g / 86% less CO2 emission per each new garment. In addition to that, Reet Aus has also launched the inspiring Up-Shirt Project which will mass-produce upcycled shirts from the waste of the textile industry, which wastes about 40% of the textiles produced (insanity!). Check out their Kickstarter video here.
