Texan Vegans Make Cinema

Ain't Them Bodies Saints, about "an impassioned outlaw couple" starring veg Hollywood heavyweights Casey Affleck and Rooney Mara, will be featured at The Sundance Film Festival in January and screened in Los Angeles on January 31st for the public. Not only are the two leading stars of this film animal advocates, but the filmmakers (below) are a set of Texan, powerhouse vegans with masterly facial hair including (below) director/screenwriter David Lowery, and producers Toby Halbrooks and James M. Johnston (also co-owner of Spiral Diner). Producers Halbrooks and Johnston were named on Variety's 10 producers to watch list, and David Lowery was listed in Variety's 10 Directors to Watch.
